About this game

CloverPit puts a slot machine and an ATM inside the cell where you are trapped. Each round brings a debt payment to meet; failure means falling into the pit. Earning coins involves manipulating the machine with prizes and charms whose effects can combine, changing the odds and the returns from a spin. The game also has progression across runs and power-ups to unlock. Beyond the debt-driven rounds, Endless Mode provides a separate objective of pushing your in-game score higher. The central activity remains building interactions around the machine: work with its uncertain outcomes, assemble useful effects and make enough money to keep going.

7.8 / 10Nintendo Switch 2

Best suited to players intrigued by bending chance through item combinations.

Interacting charms could make the machine an experiment in finding combinations that earn enough to survive. The payment condition gives those experiments a consequence, so the appeal depends on enjoying uncertainty under pressure.

Strengths

  • Combining effects offers a way to influence the machine instead of merely waiting for a payout.

Weaknesses

  • Players who want predictable results may dislike a loop built around changing odds.

Who it is for: Players interested in roguelite unlocks and discovering interactions between items.
