About this game

Lynked links combat missions to rebuilding a community with rescued robot allies. Take weapons and the Wyre grapple into battles, collect resources and recruit Unibots with their own abilities and combo attacks. Randomized upgrades shape individual missions, while permanent progression carries development beyond them. Back in town, fish, collect creatures, harvest crops and craft. Combat resources help expand the home base, and town resources feed character abilities for the next fight. Online missions support up to three players, with up to six sharing town activities. This Nintendo Switch 2 Edition adds Joy-Con 2 mouse controls and online GameShare through GameChat; online features require an internet connection, Nintendo Account and paid Nintendo Switch Online membership.

7.1 / 10Nintendo Switch 2

A fit for players who want their combat expeditions and town-building projects to support each other.

If you enjoy bringing resources home for a visible project, the connection between missions, town growth and character upgrades gives both activities a shared purpose. Random mission upgrades and recruited robot companions add choices for players who also want to adjust their combat approach.

Strengths

  • Resources connect battles, home-base growth and future abilities, giving gathering a purpose across both sides of the game.
  • Random mission upgrades alongside permanent progression offer immediate choices without making all development temporary.

Weaknesses

  • Players seeking uninterrupted combat may find the resource gathering and town projects pull attention away from fighting.

Who it is for: Action-RPG players who also enjoy crafting, building a home base and developing robot companions.

Play notes: Online combat is limited to three players even though towns support six. Online features and GameShare through GameChat require the stated Nintendo services.
