About this game
Axiom Verge follows a scientist who awakens in an alien world after an accident. You explore interconnected areas in a two-dimensional action adventure, discovering weapons, tools and abilities along the way. Some routes begin out of reach; new equipment changes where you can go, so progress depends on matching discoveries to obstacles as well as fighting through the world. The Address Disruptor gives this exploration a particular twist by applying glitch effects to certain enemies and parts of the environment. These alterations are deliberate tools within the game's rules. Pixel art frames the alien setting, while a separate Speedrun Mode streamlines the interface and allows dialogue and story scenes to be skipped for timed attempts.
Collected in series
Axiom Verge is a science-fiction exploration series about finding a way through strange, interconnected worlds. New tools change how familiar rooms can be crossed, while distorted scenery and unfamiliar machines make each discovery feel slightly unsettling.

For explorers who enjoy asking what a newly found tool might change.
Equipment-gated routes can make discoveries useful beyond the next fight. The Address Disruptor adds a reason to experiment with familiar-looking obstacles, appealing to players who enjoy reconsidering how a world works.
Strengths
- Tools that open routes can connect exploration rewards directly to progress.
- Glitch effects provide another way to think about enemies and environmental obstacles.
Weaknesses
- Players seeking a straightforward route may find initially inaccessible areas an unwelcome interruption.
Who it is for: Fans of interconnected exploration, unusual equipment and testing how new abilities interact with the environment.
Play notes: Some paths require equipment found elsewhere; encountering an obstacle does not mean it can be passed immediately.
