About this game
WarioWare: Move It! turns quick instructions into physical actions. You take a prescribed form, then move to solve a microgame that lasts just a few seconds. Chopping bamboo and returning a curtsey are among the tasks, so reading what the game wants and responding with the right movement are the recurring challenges. Story Mode strings microgames together for one or two local players, with a pair of Joy-Con controllers needed for each person. Party Mode instead supports two to four local players using one Joy-Con apiece. These modes organize the short challenges into either a continuing sequence or shared competition. Handheld mode and the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller are not supported, making the Joy-Con motion setup central to how you play.
Collected in series
Wario puts greed and slapstick at the center of Nintendo adventures. The Wario Land games send him barging through stages for treasure, while the WarioWare spin-offs turn everyday oddities into tiny games that demand an immediate reaction.

Nintendo SwitchAI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A natural fit for players who enjoy reacting physically and looking a little ridiculous together.
Brief microgames and changing poses suggest a rhythm of recognizing an instruction and immediately acting on it. Local cooperation and competition may work especially well for groups who enjoy making their own gestures part of the entertainment.
Strengths
- Changing poses and short tasks can keep attention on rapid recognition rather than extended rule learning.
- Story and Party modes offer different ways to share the physical challenges locally.
Weaknesses
- Players who prefer seated handheld play or a Pro Controller may find the required setup restrictive.
Who it is for: Players who welcome motion controls, quick reactions and visible, playful interaction with people in the same room.
Play notes: Story Mode needs a pair of Joy-Con per player; Party Mode uses one per player. Handheld mode and Pro Controller play are unsupported.
