Below Zero sends you into an alien ocean's polar region to investigate what happened to your sister. Search abandoned research stations for logs and other evidence, gathering materials to craft equipment along the way. Habitats provide shelter, and the modular Seatruck offers another way to travel through underwater environments. Exploration also takes you onto frozen land. A cold suit, hot coffee and heat-giving plants help counter the surface chill, while crystal caverns and icy caves form different settings for the search. This edition adds Joy-Con 2 mouse controls. Its documented Switch 2 update supplies selectable graphics presets and restores an option that highlights interactable objects.
