About this game
Build a farm in Zephyr Town by planting and tending crops, caring for animals and gathering products to sell. Saturdays bring the bazaar: arrange goods at your stall and ring the bell to draw customers. As the market gains renown, additional stalls open, giving the town's growth a visible place in your routine. Windmills turn farm products and gathered materials into artisan goods, adding processing to your preparations for market day. Progress also unlocks a glider for travelling above rooftops, cliffs and riverbanks. Between farm work and selling, you can develop friendships and romances with the townspeople. This Nintendo Switch 2 Edition also supports Joy-Con 2 mouse controls.
Collected in series
Story of Seasons is the farming-life series known in Japan as Bokujo Monogatari, with earlier Western games released as Harvest Moon. Nintendo Switch 2AI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
Farm work with a weekly shopkeeping goal, suited to players who enjoy preparing for market day.
Producing, processing and personally selling goods gives the farming routine a concrete destination. The Saturday schedule should provide a useful planning anchor, though players seeking a completely unstructured routine may prefer less calendar-driven selling.
Strengths
- Windmill processing and stall selling connect production choices to an active market-day role.
- New stalls make the bazaar's development relevant to the places you can shop.
Weaknesses
- The weekly selling schedule may feel restrictive if you prefer to organize every activity without a calendar anchor.
Who it is for: Players who enjoy farming, small-shop management and planning a routine around recurring events.
Play notes: The glider requires story progress; it is not available from the outset.
