About this game
Risk of Rain Returns sends a survivor through side-view stages toward an abandoned ship. You fight for equipment, combine item effects and activate teleporters to reach other biomes. Searching longer can improve your supplies, but enemy difficulty rises with time, making the decision to keep exploring or move onward part of each run. Different survivors and unlockable alternative skills change your starting toolkit, while artifacts alter the rules. Handcrafted maps contain randomly placed gameplay elements, and a failed attempt leads into another run. You can tackle the journey alone or cooperate with others locally or online, bringing different survivor abilities into the same fight.
