About this game
Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! pairs you with Eevee for a journey through Kanto. Approach wild Pokémon visible in the world, then aim and time your Poké Ball throws: landing within a smaller target ring improves your capture chances. Successful catches award experience to your party, connecting collection with raising the Pokémon you take into battle. Trainer and Gym Leader battles give that growing team another purpose. Type matchups affect damage, so choosing a Pokémon and its move matters. Away from combat, you can pet and feed Eevee, while its Secret Techniques help overcome obstacles along the journey. Local Support Play lets a second player join in, coordinate capture throws and command another Pokémon in battle. In handheld mode, aiming uses movement of the console and throwing uses the A Button.
Collected in series
Pokémon is a role-playing series that began in 1996. As a Trainer, you travel the world meeting, catching and raising Pokémon. Filling your Pokédex, building a team and taking on rivals shape the adventure, while trading with friends brings new partners along for the journey.

Nintendo SwitchAI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A good design fit for players drawn to collecting, partner companionship and shared local play.
Catching feeds experience back into the party, so searching for Pokémon can also support preparation for Trainer battles. Eevee's interactions and travel techniques may make the partner relationship feel present between those encounters.
Strengths
- Capture experience connects collecting Pokémon with developing the party.
- Synchronized throws give local partners a concrete action to coordinate.
Who it is for: Players who enjoy spotting Pokémon, building a team and sharing parts of an adventure with someone nearby.
Play notes: Support Play gives both players a Pokémon to command, which may reduce the resistance sought by players wanting evenly matched battles.
