About this game

Inaba becomes home to both your school life and a murder investigation. Outside the television world, you choose how to spend free time: meeting people, working part-time or studying. Developing Social Links strengthens your Persona abilities, connecting everyday relationships with the power you use during the investigation. Inside televisions, the group explores dungeons inhabited by Shadows. Battles use turn-based commands: striking a weakness knocks an enemy down and grants another action, while downing every enemy opens an All-Out Attack opportunity. You also fuse Personas to create new ones. This Golden remaster allows difficulty selection from the beginning without changing the story's progression, and suspend saving is available away from normal save points.

8.5 / 10Nintendo Switch

A strong design fit for players who want relationships and everyday choices to matter alongside turn-based combat.

Social Links connect time spent with people to combat power, which could make ordinary activities feel relevant to the investigation. Weakness-triggered extra actions and Persona fusion may appeal to players who prefer planning an advantage over relying on reflexes.

Strengths

  • Social Links could give relationship building a clear mechanical purpose beyond following character stories.
  • Weaknesses and All-Out Attack opportunities may reward planning how to disable an entire enemy group.

Weaknesses

  • Players interested chiefly in dungeon battles need to be comfortable with school life and social activities forming a substantial part of the game's structure.

Who it is for: Players who enjoy a small-town mystery, choosing how to spend free time and preparing options for command-based battles.

Weaknesses grant extra actions, so choosing an attack could matter as much for the next action it creates as for its immediate effect.

The contrast between ordinary Inaba life and a monster-filled television world could give the mystery an unsettling edge.
