About this game
Take your created MyPLAYER through MyCAREER, or collect NBA and WNBA cards to construct a MyTEAM roster for single-player and multiplayer matches. On this version, the City also provides a place to join friends for Park competition. ProPLAY uses NBA footage as the basis for in-game player movement. For franchise management, MyNBA puts you in the General Manager's role and lets you pursue a championship with your chosen team. MyNBA and Play Now are available offline. MyCAREER and MyTEAM require an internet connection, so a personal career or single-player card-team match should not be assumed to work offline.

Nintendo Switch 2AI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A good conceptual fit for fans who want careers, card teams and franchise decisions in one basketball game.
MyCAREER, MyTEAM and MyNBA give different purposes to returning to the court: develop a player, reshape a roster or run a franchise. The City's Park competition may add appeal for friends who want a shared basketball setting.
Strengths
- Player careers, card collection and franchise management offer distinct goals around the same sport.
- The City gives groups a dedicated setting for Park competition.
Weaknesses
- An internet-dependent career can be a poor fit for players who expect personal progression to remain offline.
Who it is for: NBA fans interested in player development, mixed NBA/WNBA card rosters or franchise management.
Play notes: MyCAREER and MyTEAM need internet access; MyNBA and Play Now are the verified offline routes discussed here.
