About this game
Mini Metro puts you in charge of a growing city's subway map. Draw lines between stations to get trains running, then reshape those routes when new stops appear. Stations have limited room for waiting passengers, so extending a line is only part of the task: you also have to decide where the network's limited resources should go as demand changes. Random city growth changes the problems presented by each game. The Switch edition offers Normal, Endless and Extreme modes, including a pressure-free option for continued network building. Its abstract subway-diagram presentation keeps the city in the form of lines and stations, accompanied by a dynamic soundtrack by Disasterpeace.

AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A good match for players who enjoy revising a plan as its demands change.
Limited resources make route changes a question of priorities, which may appeal to players who enjoy diagnosing a network rather than simply expanding it. Random growth challenges fixed solutions, while Endless mode offers an alternative to the pressure of overcrowding.
Strengths
- Redrawing routes lets planning remain responsive to new stations.
- The mode selection accommodates both pressure-based and pressure-free network building.
Weaknesses
- Random growth may frustrate players who want to reproduce a fixed solution.
Who it is for: Players interested in transport diagrams, resource allocation and adapting interconnected systems.
Play notes: For pressure-free construction, choose Endless rather than relying on the survival-oriented network challenge.
