About this game
Kirby Air Riders puts you on machines that move forward automatically. Hold Boost Charge to brake and drift, then release the charge for a dash. Choosing a rider-machine combination sets the starting point, with machines differing in turning, acceleration and flight characteristics. Air Ride focuses on reaching the finish, while Top Ride shows its whole miniature course from above. City Trial changes the structure: spend five minutes gathering upgrades, then take the resulting machine into a Stadium event chosen from randomly offered options. Rivals can destroy your machine during the preparation phase. For a solo progression route, Road Trip links challenges drawn from the main modes into a journey.

Nintendo Switch 2AI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
Suited to racers who enjoy adapting a machine as much as steering it.
Braking to build a dash gives cornering a distinctive decision: surrender speed now to accelerate afterward. City Trial adds another layer by making collected upgrades matter to the final contest.
Strengths
- Machine combinations offer room to explore different handling preferences.
- Road Trip provides a solo route through challenges based on the main modes.
Weaknesses
- City Trial's randomly offered finales can frustrate players who want to plan around one fixed event.
Who it is for: Players interested in unusual racing controls, machine experimentation and preparation followed by competition.
Play notes: In City Trial, opponents can destroy your machine while you gather upgrades.
