About this game
Kena: Bridge of Spirits follows a Spirit Guide searching an abandoned forest village for a sacred mountain shrine. You explore the village and gather small companions called Rot. Finding more of them expands Kena's abilities and the ways she can manipulate the environment, making the search for companions part of developing her options. The Rot help with concrete tasks on both sides of the adventure: outside combat they can move large objects, while in battle they can pin most enemies or empower an arrow into a piercing attack. Exploration also includes finding Spirit Mail and returning it to villagers' houses to help restore their homes. These activities connect the journey through the village with the work of recovering it.

Nintendo Switch 2AI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A promising choice for players who want companions to participate in both exploration and combat.
The Rot's object-moving and enemy-binding roles may give companion collecting a purpose beyond simply filling a collection. Returning Spirit Mail offers another link between exploring the village and seeing its homes restored.
Strengths
- Rot abilities connect the search for companions with new practical options.
- Moving objects and pinning enemies give the same companions roles across exploration and combat.
Who it is for: Players interested in companion-assisted action and exploring a village through acts of restoration.
