About this game

Just Dance 2024 Edition turns choosing a song into a physical dance activity: watch the on-screen coach and mirror the choreography. Its tracklist spans Latin, rock, hip-hop and K-pop, while individual songs bring their own characters and musical settings to the screen. Workout mode records the duration of a session, the songs danced and the game's calorie count. Playing also earns cosmetic items for a personalized Dancer Card. The 2024 edition can be played without owning the 2023 edition, although a Ubisoft account is required. Just Dance+ offers an additional song catalog through a separate subscription.

Collected in series

Just Dance is Ubisoft’s dance-game series, where you follow an on-screen performer and match movements to the music. Each song brings a routine to learn, turning practice or a gathering with friends into a dance session; tracking equipment and multiplayer options vary by edition.

7.1 / 10Nintendo Switch

A suitable format for players who want music-led movement and visible session goals.

Mirroring choreography can make learning a routine the main attraction, particularly when the tracklist matches your musical tastes. Workout counters may help turn that activity into a repeatable personal routine without requiring interest in the cosmetic rewards.

Strengths

  • Workout tracking can give an otherwise open-ended dance session a concrete personal target.
  • Song-specific characters and settings may help distinguish routines beyond their musical genres.

Who it is for: Players who enjoy following dance routines and want to organize movement around songs they like.

Play notes: A Ubisoft account is required; the additional Just Dance+ catalog is a subscription service.
