About this game
Drum ‘n’ Fun! centres on performing rhythms in time with a song. You can swing Joy-Con controllers, use the touchscreen or play with buttons, then choose a performance character whose skills assist with parts of the rhythm. The game also includes characters to unlock, giving your song sessions an additional objective. Performance play supports two people on the same console, while Party Mode changes the activity to rhythm minigames for up to four. Its song selection includes music from Super Mario Odyssey and Splatoon 2. For group play, each participant needs a controller; a left and right Joy-Con can serve separate players.
Collected in series
Taiko no Tatsujin turns songs into patterns of red and blue notes, asking you to strike the drumhead or rim in time. Its cheerful drumming runs from arcade cabinets to home games, where keeping a combo alive makes a familiar tune feel like your own performance.
