About this game

Just Dance 2026 Edition turns following choreography into the main activity: watch the coach, match the movements and work on your dance results. Its song selection includes APT., Houdini and Counting Stars. You can dance alone or gather up to six players for local multiplayer, while Workout Mode adds a calorie display to the session. Party Mode reshapes the format around shortened songs, visual distractions and instruction-following challenges, with selectable duration and difficulty. On Switch, supported Switch controllers provide one control method. For solo dancing, Camera Controller instead uses the Just Dance Controller app and a smartphone camera to track your whole body without holding a controller.

7.4 / 10Nintendo Switch

A dance-party format for groups that enjoy following routines and reacting to changing rules.

Matching the coach gives practice a concrete focus, while Party Mode's modifiers can turn familiar choreography into a shared reaction game. Choosing session length and difficulty should help groups shape the activity around their available time.

Strengths

  • Shortened songs and selectable session settings can make Party Mode easier to fit into a gathering.
  • The solo camera option offers a hands-free alternative for dancers who dislike holding a controller.

Who it is for: People who enjoy copying choreography, dancing together locally or alternating routine practice with playful interruptions.

Play notes: Camera Controller requires the smartphone app and is limited to solo play; it is not the camera-based option for a multiplayer dance session.
