About this game

Take control of a wobbly human and work through environments built around physical interactions. Grab an object, push or pull it into place, then carry what you need to tackle the next puzzle. Levels offer multiple routes, so exploring the surroundings and experimenting with movable objects are part of making progress. The dreams move between settings such as castles, snowy mountains and industrial spaces. You can explore alone or share the task with a split-screen partner, coordinating the same awkward body movements and object handling. Character customization lets you choose outfits and colours for your human. The recurring activity is practical experimentation: change how you approach the space and use the objects within it.

7.3 / 10Nintendo Switch

Best suited to players who find pleasure in improvised solutions and deliberately wobbly movement.

Object handling and alternative routes can turn a puzzle into an invitation to try an idea with a friend. The same wobbly movement may be less appealing if you want immediate, exact responses from your character.

Strengths

  • Split-screen cooperation makes shared object-solving possible on one system.
  • Alternative routes give experimentation a place in progressing through a level.

Weaknesses

  • The wobbly body may frustrate players who prefer precise movement over adapting to physical behaviour.

Who it is for: Patient solo experimenters and local partners who enjoy working out how objects and bodies can solve a shared problem.

Play notes: This edition does not include the additional Dockyard, Museum, Hike, Candyland and Test Chamber stages supplied with Switch 2 Edition.

Multiple routes may let players vary their approach when they would rather experiment than follow a single solution path.

Manipulating objects can be satisfying if working out a physical solution matters more to you than executing a clean movement sequence.
