About this game
Horizon Chase 2 puts overtaking and nitrous use at the centre of its arcade racing. Guide your car through stylized three-dimensional courses and look for a chance to move ahead of your rivals. In World Tour, progression also brings opportunities to upgrade car statistics, connecting races with vehicle development. The garage lets you change your car’s appearance with paint and decals. Local split-screen supports racing together on one console, and friends can progress through World Tour together. Barry Leitch’s soundtrack accompanies the races. For local multiplayer, each participant needs a compatible controller.
Collected in series
Horizon Chase is an arcade-racing series inspired by the quick, direct feel of 1990s racers. You steer through bends and busy packs of rivals across colorful courses, with stylized scenery and an energetic soundtrack keeping the journey moving.

AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A good conceptual match for players who enjoy arcade overtaking with a shared progression goal.
Nitrous gives passing rivals a clear tactical focus, while World Tour upgrades add a reason to keep developing a car. Shared progression and split-screen make it particularly relevant to friends who want races connected by a common objective.
Strengths
- World Tour upgrades can turn individual races into steps toward a longer vehicle-development goal.
- Split-screen and shared World Tour progression offer reasons to gather around the same game.
Who it is for: Players who like arcade racing and want car upgrades or a shared tour to connect their races.
Play notes: Local multiplayer needs a compatible controller for each participant.
