About this game
Rocket League turns soccer into a contest of driving and ball contact. You steer your car into the ball to send it toward goal, then use jumps and boosts to reach aerial shots. Walls and corners create rebounds to read, so the next useful touch can depend on both your approach and where the ball travels after impact. Competitive matches and tournaments provide places to put those skills to work. Custom Training lets players build drills or use community-created exercises to practice particular situations. Away from the ball, the Garage stores different appearance presets for your car. Nintendo Switch supports TV, tabletop and handheld play.

AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A strong conceptual fit for players who enjoy turning a simple sporting objective into a demanding movement skill.
Aerial hits and wall rebounds make the route to goal a question of positioning and vehicle control, which should reward an appetite for practice. Custom drills give that practice a structure, while competitive matches and tournaments offer different settings for applying it.
Strengths
- Jumping and boosting extend ball contests beyond ground-level driving.
- Custom drills offer a focused way to work on specific situations.
Weaknesses
- Players who dislike rehearsing timing and ball contact may find aerial play more demanding than the soccer premise suggests.
Who it is for: Players who enjoy practicing movement, reading rebounds and applying learned skills in competitive play.
