About this game
Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled puts timed boosting at the centre of kart racing. Start a Power Slide through a turn, watch the timing cues and chain boosts; wait too long and the opportunity disappears. Adventure Mode gives those races a progression structure, with trophies opening subsequent tracks. Choose the Nitro-Fueled Adventure setting to change your driver and kart as you progress and select a difficulty level. Battle mode shifts the focus to attacking opponents with collected items. The original adventure also returns with updated visuals, while the optional glowing-tire indicator provides a visible cue for learning when to boost.
Collected in series
Crash Bandicoot is a cartoon action franchise led by a marsupial with a whirlwind spin. Its platform adventures mix jumping, crate smashing and eccentric hazards, while racing spin-offs bring the same lively cast onto the track.

Nintendo SwitchAI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A promising fit for kart racers who enjoy practising boost timing alongside a structured adventure.
Chained sliding boosts suggest a racecraft loop built around improving timing rather than simply holding the accelerator. Trophy-based progression and selectable Adventure difficulty offer different ways to approach that practice.
Strengths
- Boost chains give repeated cornering practice a concrete mechanical goal.
- Adventure track unlocks can give solo racing a clear next objective.
Weaknesses
- Missing the boost window may frustrate players who prefer less timing-dependent acceleration.
Who it is for: Players drawn to kart handling practice, track unlocks and changing their racer during an adventure.
Play notes: The Pit Stop requires an internet connection.
