About this game
Marth leads an army against the Dolhr Empire. Units have different classes, weapons and abilities, so commanding them involves deciding which character should handle a particular encounter. Clerics provide healing with staves but cannot attack, making support a separate role from fighting. A chapter ends when Marth takes its designated castle or throne. Villages can provide information, money or new allies when he visits. Inspecting equipment and abilities helps you understand what a new recruit can contribute before committing that character to battle.
Collected in series
Fire Emblem’s main tactical RPGs combine turn-based battles with the growth and relationships of a fantasy army. Choosing where each ally stands matters as much as deciding whom to train, and getting to know the cast gives those battlefield decisions a personal edge.
