About this game
Darwin wants to return to the ocean after being pulled into an unfamiliar industrial complex. You guide the octopus through its dangers, swimming, jumping and hiding to find a way onward. Camouflage is part of his toolkit, making his animal abilities central to the escape. The journey combines platforming sequences with puzzles built into the environment. Advancing means negotiating physical obstacles as well as finding ways through threatening spaces, with infiltration joining movement and problem-solving. An animated-film visual approach frames the unlikely hero and his surroundings. The recurring task is to put Darwin's abilities to work against the traps and threats between him and home.

Nintendo Switch 2AI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
An appealing premise for players who want movement puzzles built around an unusual animal protagonist.
Swimming and camouflage give the octopus identity a practical role in the escape, which should interest players who enjoy applying a character's abilities to obstacles. The combination of jumping, hiding and puzzle-solving suggests a varied set of demands rather than an uninterrupted run of platforming.
Strengths
- The protagonist's animal traits provide a concrete connection between character and problem-solving.
- Combining concealment with traversal can reward looking for a suitable approach before moving.
Weaknesses
- Players seeking continuous jumping action may be less interested in the pauses implied by hiding and puzzle-solving.
Who it is for: Players drawn to animal protagonists, environmental puzzles and escapes that mix movement with concealment.
Play notes: The visual-effect customization discussed here requires the Nintendo Switch 2 community patch.
