About this game
DAEMON X MACHINA puts you in an Arsenal, a flying mech assembled from interchangeable armor and weapons. The campaign moves forward through combat orders, including enemy elimination and position defense. During a battle, you can recover weapons from defeated machines and equip them immediately, changing your available attacks without waiting for the next mission. Salvaged equipment also carries forward into later battles, connecting battlefield pickups with your next round of customization. You can combine parts, change colors and add decals to shape your machine's appearance. Movement has its own tradeoff: Speed Shift increases your movement speed while reducing defense, making the choice of when to use it part of combat.
Collected in series
Daemon X Machina is a mecha action series built around customizing combat machines called Arsenals. You mix weapons and armor, move between ground and aerial combat, and look for equipment that suits your fighting style. Titanic Scion changes the scale with an Arsenal worn as powered armor.

Nintendo SwitchAI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A promising fit for players who want battlefield improvisation to feed their next mech build.
Immediate weapon salvage could make each encounter an opportunity to reconsider your equipment. Persistent recovered gear gives that improvisation a longer purpose, while Speed Shift's defense penalty should matter most to players who enjoy balancing mobility against exposure.
Strengths
- Using enemy weapons immediately could make collecting equipment feel like an active combat decision.
- Colors and decals offer an additional outlet for players who enjoy giving a build its own identity.
Weaknesses
- The defense cost of Speed Shift may be unwelcome if you want faster movement without an accompanying vulnerability.
Who it is for: Players interested in assembling a mech, trying recovered weapons and adjusting their approach between orders.
Play notes: Treat co-op as a separate set of stages rather than a way to play through the story campaign.
