About this game
Chuumon Shiyouze! Oretachi no Sekai is a PSP role-playing game centered on area exploration, combat and party setup, and character progression. Story beats, exploration, and progression resources support a longer campaign, with progress divided into stages, tasks, matches, or growth milestones that make immediate goals understandable. Its value depends on whether these rules continue to create judgment and room for mastery rather than on length, sales, or series recognition. Short campaigns are judged by repeat-challenge value, while longer ones are judged by variety, pacing, and recovery after failure. Characters, world building, environments, and music carry most of the atmosphere, while the portable widescreen, UMD streaming, compressed audio, and handheld-scale interface need to preserve targets, text, and action readability. The genre-specific limitation is that dense text, menu layers, repeated battles, loading, or language dependence can slow progress. Platform conditions also include single-nub camera control, UMD loading and noise, Memory Stick saves, battery life, regional language, ad hoc requirements, and retired online services affect present-day use. This description covers only this platform release and does not import features or conveniences from remasters, emulators, or other console editions.

Inventive ordering and ambush tactics are held back by repetitive collection.
Ordering a world makes adventure begin with a budget and a purpose: choose terrain for the monsters you need, then explore the place you commissioned. Action points and ambushes give the grid battles worthwhile tactical decisions, so preparation is more than menu decoration. Unfortunately, requests repeatedly return to finding a particular enemy, waiting for its drop and delivering the result. The lighthearted exchanges and the protagonist's affection for his sister offer a stronger reason to continue than collecting, lending weight to the later tension. Distinctive illustrations will not suit everyone, and the music is less engaging than the dialogue. PSP animation acceleration and town saving support shorter sessions, but cannot make repetitive battles varied. It suits character-comedy fans who enjoy gradual money-making; ordering is not a detailed room editor, and post-completion goals are limited.
Strengths
- Action points and ambushes create meaningful encounter decisions.
- Character comedy and sibling affection sustain the story.
Weaknesses
- Drop-driven requests become monotonous, with weaker music and limited post-completion goals.
Who it is for: For character-comedy fans comfortable with gradual earnings and repeat encounters.
Play notes: Original Japanese PSP edition; ordering selects broad terrain and monster categories, not individual rooms.
