About this game

Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster updates the visuals and sound of the series prequel. In 1998, rookie S.T.A.R.S. member Rebecca Chambers investigates unusual murders outside Raccoon City. A stranded train brings her into contact with condemned prisoner Billy Coen, and the two must cooperate to survive. Players switch between Rebecca and Billy, making use of their different capabilities to solve puzzles and confront infected creatures. Exploration, item management and cooperation shape the journey, as keeping both protagonists alive gradually uncovers events that preceded the mansion incident.

Collected in series

Resident Evil follows people trying to survive biological disasters, combining dangerous exploration, puzzles and encounters with hostile creatures. Each game finds a different balance between fear and action, with fixed, over-the-shoulder and first-person perspectives changing how you face the danger.
