About this game

Assassins Creed Revelations is a Xbox 360 adventure game centered on combat encounters, character and object interaction, and objective or clue progression. Locations, objectives, and clues gradually open the main chapters, with progress divided into stages, tasks, matches, or growth milestones that make immediate goals understandable. Its value depends on whether these rules continue to create judgment and room for mastery rather than on length, sales, or series recognition. Short campaigns are judged by repeat-challenge value, while longer ones are judged by variety, pacing, and recovery after failure. Theme, character expression, and environmental clues need to support exploration together, while HD video, DVD streaming, surround audio, HDD installs, and television-distance interfaces need to keep action, state, and text readable. The genre-specific limitation is that guidance, objective triggers, camera behavior, or dense text can create search and comprehension costs. Platform conditions also include disc and HDD installation, storage devices, controller batteries, video connections, resolution and frame rate, Kinect space and calibration, and retired online services affect the current release. This description covers only this platform release and does not import features or conveniences from remasters, emulators, or other console editions.

Familiar traversal and an affecting farewell within an uneven expansion.

The Xbox 360 release sustains familiar adventure through hookblade traversal and counter-focused combat. Its historical multiplayer also gave crowd observation and concealed identity a distinctive role. The campaign contains plenty to do, although bombs, memories and first-person platform sections do not contribute equally to its momentum. The farewells to two assassins provide a substantial reward for returning players, while newcomers face a considerable background requirement. Contemporary 360 testing records stutter and tearing, particularly during cutscenes, which interrupt presentation without making the basic experience unusable. This score covers the 2011 retail period. Official multiplayer has since closed, so its former online offering should be understood as historical content rather than a currently available benefit.

Strengths

  • Lively traversal
  • Closure for established protagonists

Weaknesses

  • Uneven new activities
  • Cutscene stutter and tearing

Who it is for: Players already invested in Ezio and Altair.

Play notes: 2011 retail scope; official online modes are now unavailable.
