About this game
Assassin's Creed: Ezio Trilogy is a PlayStation 3 adventure game centered on combat encounters, collection and development goals, and location exploration. Locations, objectives, and clues gradually open the main chapters, with progress divided into stages, tasks, matches, or growth milestones that make immediate goals understandable. Its value depends on whether these rules continue to create judgment and room for mastery rather than on length, sales, or series recognition. Short campaigns are judged by repeat-challenge value, while longer ones are judged by variety, pacing, and recovery after failure. Theme, character expression, and environmental clues need to support exploration together, while HD 3D scenes, Blu-ray data streaming, surround audio, and cinematic presentation need to preserve action, state, and text readability together. The genre-specific limitation is that guidance, objective triggers, camera behavior, or dense text can create search and comprehension costs. Platform conditions also include Blu-ray loading, HDD installs, system software, DualShock 3 battery life, Move accessories, resolution and frame rate, and retired online services affect present-day use. This description covers only this platform release and does not import features or conveniences from remasters, emulators, or other console editions.
Collected in series
Assassin’s Creed turns historical settings into places to climb, explore and infiltrate. The conflict between Assassins and Templars links its adventures, while individual games shift the emphasis between stealth, seafaring and character-building RPG systems.

A substantial original-PS3 route through Ezio's entire trilogy, not a remastered or complete-DLC package.
This 2012 PS3 compilation brings together Assassin's Creed II, Brotherhood and Revelations, allowing Ezio's life to unfold across three full campaigns. Climbing historical cities, stalking targets and planning escapes remain satisfying. Brotherhood adds the appeal of recruiting and directing fellow assassins, while Revelations shifts the setting to Constantinople and brings an older protagonist toward closure. Played consecutively, the cities, music and character relationships create a stronger emotional arc than any single outing alone. There is also ample solo content. The costs are familiar: freerunning can occasionally choose the wrong surface, mission patterns recur, and Revelations adds less fresh structure than Brotherhood. Package identity matters here. These are the original PS3 games, not the later remastered Ezio Collection. Assassin's Creed II's downloadable material is included, but the other two games' expansions should not be presumed present. Historical multiplayer offerings are not counted as verified services today. The score therefore emphasizes the three single-player journeys rather than an imagined definitive bundle. It is an easy recommendation for a newcomer seeking Ezio's complete central story on PS3; owners of the originals or players expecting modernized visuals should weigh the overlap.
Strengths
- Complete three-game character arc
- Evocative historical cities
- Generous single-player scope
Weaknesses
- Recurring mission patterns
- Occasional freerunning friction
- No remaster or all-DLC guarantee
Who it is for: PS3 players who want Ezio's three core campaigns in one package.
Play notes: Original PS3 compilation; only AC II DLC is confirmed bundled, and historic multiplayer availability is not assumed.
