About this game
Apex Legends builds its squad shooting around characters with distinct abilities. In core Battle Royale play, you collect weapons, matching ammunition, attachments and recovery supplies during the match, then use that equipment alongside your Legend's skills against other teams. Sprinting and sliding are part of moving through the battlefield. The Ring closes as the match develops, requiring the squad to relocate. Pings let you mark an enemy, point out useful loot or indicate a direction without speaking. Choosing a character, assembling equipment and communicating the next move are recurring parts of the same contest: the team has to coordinate its abilities while responding to the changing play area.
Collected in series
Titanfall is a science-fiction series built around agile Pilots and towering Titan mechs. Its main shooters let you run along walls, leap between positions and climb into a machine with heavier firepower. The same universe also inspired a mobile strategy spin-off, trading direct control for battlefield command.

Nintendo Switch 2AI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A squad shooter for players who enjoy combining character skills with decisions about equipment and position.
Ability combinations and shared pings can make team planning as engaging as aiming. The closing Ring adds a reason to move, so players who prefer holding one position may find the repeated relocation less appealing.
Strengths
- Distinct abilities give teammates different contributions to coordinate.
- Pings offer a practical communication route for players who prefer not to use voice chat.
Weaknesses
- The closing Ring can interrupt a preferred position, which may frustrate players who want to settle into one location.
Who it is for: Players interested in character abilities, shared battlefield information and adapting their equipment and route during a match.
Play notes: This edition requires an internet connection.
