About this game

Your island becomes a home through everyday projects. Collect materials, learn DIY recipes and take them to a workbench to make tools and furniture. Arrange furnishings indoors or outside, and choose where animal neighbors live. Decorating reaches beyond a single room: the island's terrain can also be reshaped to support your plans. Fishing and catching creatures provide another thread to follow between building projects. What you can find changes with the season and time of day, so a collection develops across different visits rather than through one fixed set of encounters. You can alternate between seeking a particular creature and working on a corner of the island, giving your material gathering a concrete destination.

9.2 / 10Nintendo Switch

Island life for players who enjoy making their own collecting and decorating plans.

Recipes turn gathered materials into furnishings, and outdoor placement connects individual objects to a larger island layout. Seasonal catches can give later visits a fresh purpose if you enjoy building a collection gradually.

Strengths

  • Indoor and outdoor decoration can give even a small crafting project a visible place in the island.
  • Terrain shaping lets layout-minded players carry a design beyond furniture placement.

Weaknesses

  • Changing creature availability can clash with a preference for completing every collection immediately.

Who it is for: Players interested in furnishing a home, arranging a neighborhood and collecting creatures across different visits.

Play notes: For same-system multiplayer in TV or tabletop mode, each participating player needs a controller.

The controller-per-player requirement makes shared-system play a matter of preparing inputs for everyone, rather than assuming one controller can serve the group.
