About this game

Zula Hendricks follows a distress call to Purdan, where the investigation leads into a research facility occupied by Xenomorphs. Evolved Edition combines first-person shooting with stealth: you move through the facility, confront its predators and search rooms for ammunition and medical supplies. Enemies can use walls, ceilings and ducts, so their approach is not restricted to the floor ahead. Exploration also uncovers the facility’s history through messages on its terminals. Searching therefore serves both survival and the investigation, while the supply limit keeps ammunition and health items relevant to your next encounter. This installment forms the first chapter of a two-part story.

7.5 / 10Nintendo Switch 2

For horror-shooter players who enjoy watching their surroundings as closely as their supplies.

Enemies that use overhead surfaces give cautious observation a purpose beyond aiming forward. Limited supplies make exploration potentially valuable, particularly if you enjoy balancing investigation against readiness for another encounter.

Strengths

  • Wall and ceiling traversal gives enemy positioning a distinctive role in the shooting.
  • Supply searches and terminal messages give exploration practical and narrative purposes.

Weaknesses

  • A first chapter in a larger story may be a poor fit if you want the entire overarching narrative in one installment.

Who it is for: Players drawn to armed science-fiction horror, resource awareness and piecing together a facility’s past.

Play notes: This is the first chapter of a two-part story; it should not be approached as the whole saga.
