About this game

Link’s new journey sends him after the Triforce of Courage. The route involves defeating the guardians of six temples and placing crystals in their statues. Exploration uses an overhead field, while action shifts to a side-scrolling view. Enemies provide experience for strengthening abilities, and people provide information for finding a way forward. The journey therefore combines decisions about where to investigate with the actions needed to survive individual encounters.

Collected in series

The Legend of Zelda is Nintendo’s action-adventure series, which began in 1986. Link’s journeys often bring him together with Princess Zelda and into conflict with Ganon in the land of Hyrule. Exploration, puzzles and combat lie at its heart, with a curious detour often leading to a new discovery.
