About this game

Move your units and choose their attacks before handing the turn to the opposing army. Captured villages generate income, which you spend on barracks reinforcements. Alongside those troops, your commander brings a unique Groove ability to the battlefield. The campaign follows a young queen through animated pixel-art scenes. Puzzle mode gives you a different task: solve a battle within a single turn. For players who want to build scenarios, the campaign editor connects battlefields through branching paths with conditions you define.

A fit for tactical planners who also enjoy designing their own battles.

Village income and recruitment make territorial decisions matter beyond the next attack. For players who enjoy coordinating an army, commander abilities add another tactical consideration. Branching campaign creation offers a separate outlet for that interest in battlefield design.

Strengths

  • Income and recruitment can give village control a clear strategic purpose.
  • Branching campaign tools may appeal to players who want to turn battle ideas into connected scenarios.

Weaknesses

  • Players seeking persistent character leveling may find the army-focused progression less appealing.

Who it is for: Players interested in turn-based army tactics, compact battle puzzles, or creating campaigns.

Play notes: Online multiplayer requires Nintendo Switch Online; uploading and downloading user-created content does not.
