About this game

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is a PlayStation 5 adventure game centered on collection and development goals, character and object interaction, and objective or clue progression. Locations, objectives, and clues gradually open the main chapters, with progress divided into stages, tasks, matches, or growth milestones that make immediate goals understandable. Its value depends on whether these rules continue to create judgment and room for mastery rather than on length, sales, or series recognition. Short campaigns are judged by repeat-challenge value, while longer ones are judged by variety, pacing, and recovery after failure. Theme, character expression, and environmental clues need to support exploration together, while SSD streaming, 4K and HDR output, 3D audio, performance or quality modes, and high-density interfaces need to preserve feedback and information clarity together. The genre-specific limitation is that guidance, objective triggers, camera behavior, or dense text can create search and comprehension costs. Platform conditions also include install size, SSD space, patch version, DualSense battery life, visual mode and frame rate, online dependencies, PS VR2 requirements, and cross-generation version differences affect the current release. This description covers only this platform release and does not import features or conveniences from remasters, emulators, or other console editions.

Two outstanding cinematic campaigns delivered smoothly.

Cover, climbing, grappling and stealth keep fights from becoming static shooting. Movement through an arena becomes part of the solution. Both campaigns alternate character interaction, puzzles and large action sequences, making room for relationships as well as spectacle. Performances and environmental detail are especially strong, although playing consecutively exposes repeated tricks and abrupt tonal shifts. It suits players who enjoy cinematic adventure and accept exaggerated situations. The contemporary PS5 review finds a dependable sixty-frame mode and quick loading that help scenes connect smoothly, with some subtitle problems remaining. The package contains two solo campaigns, without the original multiplayer and co-op modes. Players seeking all of the characters’ earlier history should also understand that this is not a complete-series collection.

Strengths

  • Mobile combat complements well-paced character scenes.

Weaknesses

  • Consecutive play highlights repeated tricks and tonal shifts.

Who it is for: Players drawn to performances and cinematic action.

Play notes: 2022 PS5 sixty-frame historical scope; original multiplayer absent.
