About this game
Tamagotchi Plaza Nintendo Switch 2 Edition puts you to work helping shopkeepers fulfil their customers' requests. In the Afternoon Tea Shop, for example, you arrange desserts and drinks to match an order. Improving a shop's reputation expands its premises and brings new Tamagotchi through the door. Outside work, you can spend time with residents and help with their problems. This edition adds Sushi, Shuriken and Sushi Shuriken shops using mouse controls. Sushi orders involve preparing the requested food and judging its firmness, while the Shuriken Shop asks you to line up a cursor with a target before throwing. Certain shops support local play together, though cooperation is not available throughout the game. Some shops require a Joy-Con 2 outside handheld mode.
Collected in series
Tamagotchi games bring the digital pets’ characterful world into creature care, everyday activities and playful shop simulations. Depending on the game, you might raise a pet or help familiar characters serve customers through small, hands-on tasks.

Nintendo Switch 2AI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A fit for players who enjoy character-led shopkeeping and playful, task-specific controls.
Fulfilling orders feeds shop growth, giving individual activities a shared purpose. Sushi preparation and cursor-guided shuriken throwing add different physical interactions, which may appeal more to players interested in hands-on variety than a single consistent control style.
Strengths
- Shop growth and new customers give completed requests a visible purpose.
- The additional shops connect their controls to recognisable actions such as preparing food and aiming.
Weaknesses
- The Joy-Con 2-only shops restrict the edition's appeal for players who want to play everything in handheld mode.
Who it is for: Tamagotchi fans and players who enjoy fulfilling small customer requests and changing activities between shops.
Play notes: Local two-player play is available only in selected shops.
