About this game
Arabella Greene's botanical research takes place throughout her home and gardens. In this first-person puzzle game, you search the Victorian manor for seeds and evidence, inspect objects by turning them over, and study documents and pictures for information about forgotten plants. You then pot a specimen and carry the seedling to an environment that meets its needs. The plants are fictional but draw on natural phenomena, making their growing conditions the subject of each investigation. Progress brings new seeds to cultivate as Arabella works on her research book, Forgotten Flora. Exploring the rooms also reveals her life and the obstacles she faced as a woman pursuing a scientific career.
