About this game

Bomb placement starts with a simple action: set a bomb, then leave its position before the delayed explosion. Story mode applies bombs to planetary exploration, letting you destroy obstacles and attack enemies as you unlock the narrative. Puzzles also ask you to use hints to work out their solutions. Castle battles give bombing a different objective. Attackers carry keys to treasure chests and touch them to claim the treasure; defenders must keep at least one chest protected until time runs out. The stage editor lets you construct Castle layouts with walls and gimmicks. Before uploading a creation for others to play, you must clear it in a test, taking the same layout from construction into play.

7.7 / 10Nintendo Switch

A fit for players who want bomb placement to serve exploration, objective battles and stage building.

Castle's different attacking and defending goals could make positioning depend on more than eliminating opponents. Story exploration and a test-before-upload editor offer separate activities for players who enjoy both playing layouts and constructing them.

Strengths

  • Castle's key-and-treasure objectives can give bomb placement a purpose tied to the player's side.
  • Testing a created stage before sharing can help builders connect their layout ideas with actual routes through the stage.

Weaknesses

  • Players seeking a single shared objective may find Castle's distinct attacking and defending rules an extra learning step.

Who it is for: Players interested in objective-based bomb battles, planetary exploration or designing Castle stages.

Play notes: Offline battles require controllers for the participants, and created Castle stages must be cleared before uploading.

Exploration that unlocks the story and a separate create-test-share activity could suit players who like choosing between narrative progress and construction goals.

The delay between placing a bomb and its explosion can make departure timing meaningful, while Castle adds objectives that change where players want to go.

The controller requirement makes local setup a practical consideration for groups sharing one console; it does not establish connection quality or performance.
