About this game

Start with an overgrown farm and develop it through crops, animal care and crafted machines. Cave expeditions supply materials for crafting and tool upgrades, while developing skills opens more recipes. Relationships with townspeople reveal character scenes, and the community center and Joja routes offer different projects beyond your own land. The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition adds mouse controls for furniture placement and inventory organization. Those controls sit alongside the same farming, exploration and relationship systems: you still decide which parts of the farm to develop and which town projects to pursue, with an additional way to handle arrangement and item management.

9.3 / 10Nintendo Switch 2

A good fit for players who enjoy choosing their own farming and town-life projects.

The links between cave materials, crafting and farm development can make different activities feel like parts of one personal project. Friendship stories provide another direction when expanding the farm is no longer your immediate priority.

Strengths

  • Cave materials have a practical role in farm development, giving exploration a purpose beyond fighting monsters.
  • Character stories can give players interested in town life goals alongside production and crafting.

Who it is for: Players who enjoy growing a home through connected activities and deciding when to focus on farming, exploration or relationships.
