About this game
STAR WARS: The Force Unleashed casts you as Starkiller, Darth Vader's secret apprentice, during the period between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. Carry out Vader's orders by fighting with Force powers and lightsaber combinations. The adventure takes you to locations including Kashyyyk, Felucia and Raxus Prime, where Jedi Masters stand in your path. This release brings the Wii version to Nintendo Switch. Alongside the single-player adventure, Duel mode lets you face another player locally in lightsaber combat. Optional Joy-Con motion controls work in both modes, and the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller is supported. The port follows the Wii edition's scope and does not include the Ultimate Sith Edition content.

AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A focused choice for fans interested in Vader's apprentice and the Wii edition's local duels.
Force powers and lightsaber combinations suggest an appeal centered on wielding familiar Star Wars abilities. The separate Duel mode may add value for a nearby rival, while the Wii-derived content scope matters to anyone expecting another edition.
Strengths
- The combination of Force powers and lightsaber attacks may suit players drawn to the apprentice fantasy.
- Local duels offer a distinct way to share the combat with a friend.
Weaknesses
- Players seeking the Ultimate Sith Edition's additional content will find this version's scope limiting.
Who it is for: Star Wars fans interested in an apprentice-led action campaign or local lightsaber competition.
Play notes: This is the Wii-derived edition; Ultimate Sith Edition content is excluded, and Duel mode is local competition.
