About this game
Choose a hero with a distinct fighting style and battle nightmare creatures across randomly generated maps. Along the way, helping Reverie's inhabitants earns rewards, while leveling up lets you choose talents that improve your skills. Combine those talents with items to shape the build you take into later fights. Preparation has a deadline: the standard chapter gives you three days and three nights to grow stronger before its boss must be faced. Repeated runs unlock further heroes and content, placing new attempts within a continuing progression. The setting gives familiar tales a darker form, including a lycanthropic Little Red Riding Hood, and presents them in a comic-book style. Play alone or cooperate online.

Nintendo SwitchAI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
For players who enjoy making a build under pressure rather than exploring without a deadline.
The preparation window makes route choice compete with the need to become stronger. Talents and changing maps suggest room to adapt each attempt, especially for players who enjoy revising a plan instead of following one fixed sequence.
Strengths
- Talent choices and item combinations give improvisation a concrete role in each run.
- A compulsory boss deadline can make optional rewards feel like meaningful decisions about time.
Weaknesses
- The standard chapter timer may frustrate players who prefer to inspect every activity at leisure.
Who it is for: Players interested in action roguelikes, changing builds and deciding which opportunities deserve limited preparation time.
Play notes: Switch cooperation is online, with an internet connection and Nintendo Switch Online membership required; a single console supports one player.
