About this game
ONE PIECE: PIRATE WARRIORS 4 turns anime adventures into battles against large enemy forces. You control a character directly, connect attacks on the ground and in the air, and fight through battlefields where buildings can be destroyed. Before a Dramatic Log battle, you can customize special moves, then work through missions toward the episode's victory conditions. Character development continues through growth maps. Spending Coins and Berries advances both shared growth and character-specific development. Beyond the anime-based Dramatic Log, Treasure Log offers original episodes with further ranks unlocked through progress. The story adaptation has its own boundary: its Wano chapter follows a game-original storyline.

Nintendo SwitchAI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
For ONE PIECE fans who enjoy crowd combat with mission goals and character development.
Ground-to-air combos and destructible buildings can give familiar characters a suitably large-scale way to fight. Special-move preparation and growth maps should appeal to players who want decisions between battles as well as during them.
Strengths
- Ground and aerial attacks offer a reason to experiment with how a combo develops.
- Shared and individual growth maps give character development more than one focus.
Who it is for: Players who like clearing enemy crowds, developing characters and playing through an action adaptation of anime episodes.
Play notes: The Wano chapter uses a game-original story.
