About this game
Moss: The Forgotten Relic brings Book I and Book II together as one adventure. Quill jumps, fights and explores a fallen kingdom whose ruins are being reclaimed by nature. The Reader interacts with the world around her, moving obstacles to help solve environmental puzzles. That partnership can also be shared locally: with the Play Together update, two players use separate controllers to take the Quill and Reader roles. One handles the small hero's movement and combat while the other helps reshape the situation around her. Diorama-like puzzle scenes and an orchestral soundtrack frame the journey, and an optional skip-combat feature offers another way to approach the adventure.

Nintendo Switch 2AI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A compelling design premise for players who enjoy helping a hero by changing the world around them.
Quill's direct action and the Reader's environmental assistance suggest two complementary ways of thinking through a scene. Local co-op gives those roles to different people, which could appeal to pairs who want distinct responsibilities.
Strengths
- Separate action and environmental roles can make cooperation about different contributions.
- The skip-combat option offers a route for players more interested in puzzles and exploration.
Who it is for: Puzzle-adventure players and local pairs who like dividing movement, combat and environmental assistance between them.
Play notes: Save data and additional content are incompatible with the separately sold Nintendo Switch version.
