About this game
Devil May Cry 5 Devil Hunter Edition puts demon hunters with different fighting methods at the center of an invasion of the human world. Sword and gun attacks are part of the combat, while Nero’s Devil Breaker arms add specialized functions. V follows a different sequence, directing familiars to weaken enemies before approaching to deliver the finishing blow himself. Dante acquires further melee weapons by defeating foes, expanding the equipment available during the adventure. This Nintendo Switch 2 edition includes the additional playable character Vergil, extra weapon variants and alternate character colors. It supports TV, tabletop and handheld play.

Nintendo Switch 2AI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A compelling prospect if learning contrasting combat toolkits is your main reason to play an action game.
Nero’s specialized arms and V’s separation of damage-dealing from finishing blows suggest different problems to learn, rather than a single approach for every character. The included Vergil and weapon variants add options for players interested in exploring those differences.
Strengths
- Contrasting character systems could reward players who enjoy adapting their approach.
- Included weapon variants offer additional tools to investigate alongside the main cast.
Who it is for: Action players who enjoy understanding character-specific attacks and experimenting with different combat equipment.
