About this game
Explore Viewros from Samus Aran's perspective, using the Scan Visor to analyze ancient writing, creatures and unfamiliar materials. Acquiring new abilities opens previously inaccessible areas. Psychic powers let Samus activate mechanisms and bend a charged beam's trajectory, while Vi-O-La carries her across the desert hub of Sol Valley. This edition adds an aiming choice to that adventure: move the right Joy-Con 2 like a mouse, or use standard button controls. The mouse option belongs to Joy-Con 2; original Nintendo Switch controllers connected to the console do not provide it. Investigation, ability-based progression and travel between Viewros's environments remain the core player activities.

Nintendo Switch 2AI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
For players who enjoy reading an environment as carefully as aiming through it.
Scanning and ability-gated routes may reward players who like working out why a path is blocked. Steering a beam and choosing between button and mouse aiming offer different ways to engage with Samus's actions.
Strengths
- New abilities can make earlier obstacles feel like concrete reasons to keep exploring.
- Bending a beam's trajectory may appeal to players who enjoy manipulating a shot beyond its initial direction.
Weaknesses
- Players seeking uninterrupted shooting may find environmental analysis and ability-gated access less aligned with their preferred rhythm.
Who it is for: Players interested in first-person investigation, new traversal possibilities and an optional mouse aiming method.
Play notes: Mouse aiming uses Joy-Con 2; original Nintendo Switch controllers do not provide this feature.
