About this game
Mono is trapped in a world warped by the Signal Tower's transmissions. You control him as he travels with Six toward the tower, working together to solve puzzles and overcome obstacles. Avoiding traps is part of the journey, and nearby objects can become tools for fending off enemies. The route leads through woodlands and a school, where threatening residents such as the Hunter and the Teacher stand in the way. Progress depends on getting past these dangers while continuing toward the source of the transmission. Although Mono has a companion, this is a single-player adventure: the player controls Mono rather than sharing the journey through a multiplayer mode.
Collected in series
Little Nightmares makes ordinary rooms and familiar places frightening by seeing them from a tiny protagonist’s perspective. Its unsettling adventures combine environmental puzzles, hiding and escape, with looming figures and disturbing details telling much of the story.

Nintendo SwitchAI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A fit for players who prefer solving problems while under threat to confronting every danger directly.
Puzzles with Six can give the escape a sense of shared purpose within a solo adventure. Traps and hostile residents may make paying attention to the surroundings as important as moving forward.
Strengths
- Object-based defense can make the surroundings part of the response to danger.
Who it is for: Players drawn to unsettling settings, environmental puzzles, and encounters built around evading threatening figures.
Play notes: This is a single-player game. Saves cannot be shared with the separately sold Nintendo Switch 2 version.
