About this game
Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective begins with Sissel already dead and unable to remember who he was. Before his spirit disappears the following morning, you must investigate his death using powers that connect the ghost world to everyday objects. Time stops while you move between objects with visible cores; returning to the real world lets you manipulate what you possess. Even ringing a bicycle bell can distract an attacker. Sissel can also return to the four minutes before another victim's death, using these interventions to alter events. The investigation develops through object-based puzzles and the search for his identity. This HD remaster adds a collection of unlockable illustrations and music, and lets you switch between the original and rearranged soundtracks during play.

Nintendo SwitchAI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A distinctive match for puzzle fans who enjoy changing events through small, indirect actions.
Possessing objects turns the scene itself into the player's means of intervention, so noticing what an item can do may matter more than a conventional heroic action. Rewinding a victim's final minutes gives those interactions a clear dramatic purpose for players who enjoy linking cause and effect.
Strengths
- Ordinary objects can become tools for changing events, encouraging close attention to a scene.
- Soundtrack switching offers a direct way to compare the original musical treatment with its rearrangement.
Who it is for: Players who enjoy environmental logic puzzles, unusual forms of agency and a mystery about identity.
