About this game
Fortnite on Nintendo Switch 2 includes last-player-standing Battle Royale and Zero Build, where weapons, items and movement replace player building. Move between cover, mantle to higher ground and use Zero Build's recharging Overshield. LEGO exploration and survival, Festival concerts and creator-made games provide other activities, with individual age ratings for each experience. This version also supports Save the World: scavenge materials, craft weapons and construct fortifications or trap tunnels to defend objectives against monster waves. For Battle Royale experiences, the documented Joy-Con 2 mouse setting lets you select either or both controllers for mouse input; the right analog stick is disabled while this setting is active. An internet connection and the software version intended for Switch 2 are required.

Nintendo Switch 2AI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A broad prospect for players who want competitive survival and defensive building in different modes, with an optional mouse-control approach.
Zero Build shifts attention toward weapon use and movement, while Save the World offers a contrasting loop of preparation and objective defense. That range may suit players who enjoy changing goals, provided they are comfortable choosing between distinct experiences and their conditions.
Strengths
- Zero Build and Save the World serve different interests: fighting without construction or preparing defenses against monster waves.
- Selectable Joy-Con 2 mouse input provides another control approach for players interested in aiming with controller movement across a surface.
Who it is for: Players who want to alternate between survival competition, constructing defenses and exploring other Fortnite activities.
Play notes: With the documented Joy-Con 2 mouse setting active, the right analog stick is disabled; individual experiences also carry separate age ratings.
