About this game
FIFA 15 is a Xbox 360 sports game centered on sport controls, shifts between attack and defense, and score or tournament goals. Matches, challenges, and tournament goals give sessions clear boundaries, with progress divided into stages, tasks, matches, or growth milestones that make immediate goals understandable. Its value depends on whether these rules continue to create judgment and room for mastery rather than on length, sales, or series recognition. Short campaigns are judged by repeat-challenge value, while longer ones are judged by variety, pacing, and recovery after failure. Players, venues, animation, and score feedback establish the match atmosphere, while HD video, DVD streaming, surround audio, HDD installs, and television-distance interfaces need to keep action, state, and text readable. The genre-specific limitation is that opponent ai, control precision, multiplayer accessories, and period-specific rosters can affect consistency. Platform conditions also include disc and HDD installation, storage devices, controller batteries, video connections, resolution and frame rate, Kinect space and calibration, and retired online services affect the current release. This description covers only this platform release and does not import features or conveniences from remasters, emulators, or other console editions.
Collected in series
FIFA is EA SPORTS’ football series built around passing moves, defensive decisions and the excitement of scoring. Across its history, careers, Ultimate Team and women’s football broadened the experience beyond individual matches.

A strong offline football game with closed online services.
FIFA 15 on Xbox 360 is most rewarding when you build attacks yourself. Tighter dribbling, supporting runs and physical shielding give manual passing meaningful timing and tactical choices. Career scouting, player development and multiple team sheets sustain longer seasons, while tournaments and skill challenges offer useful changes of pace. Reactive chants and broadcast replays make matches feel lively, although headers sometimes favour attackers and goalkeepers still make occasional mistakes. The reviewed Italian commentary also has awkward pauses and inaccurate calls. This is a refinement of an established formula rather than a reinvention. Today its value lies in retained offline football and management: online and Ultimate Team services have ended, so the original connected experience is no longer available.
Strengths
- Tactical manual play and supporting runs
- Substantial offline career and tournament options
- Lively stadium atmosphere
Weaknesses
- Occasional keeper and aerial-duel inconsistencies
- Uneven Italian commentary
Who it is for: Football players interested in manual controls and offline career management.
Play notes: Xbox 360 online and FUT services ended on 15 September 2021; rosters reflect the original release.
