About this game

Lily cannot fight her enemies directly. Instead, you call on spirits to attack while using evasive movement to keep her out of danger. Defeating and purifying cursed foes adds new abilities to her options, and you choose which spirit skills to equip for combat. That growth also changes how you explore the ruined kingdom. New movement abilities open further areas, turning a gained power into another way through the map. Between battles, collect residue to strengthen skills and equip relics that assist combat or exploration. The journey passes through a submerged forest, a castle and contaminated underground areas, linking the search for a route with the gradual expansion of Lily's abilities.

8.5 / 10Nintendo Switch

A strong conceptual fit for explorers who enjoy building a combat toolkit as the map opens.

Turning defeated enemies into abilities gives each confrontation a possible consequence beyond survival. Because growth also expands traversal, players who enjoy linking combat preparation with route discovery have a clear reason to engage with both systems.

Strengths

  • Skill upgrades and relic choices offer complementary ways to shape a combat approach.
  • Movement rewards can make a new ability valuable for exploration as well as progression.

Weaknesses

  • The six-skill equipment limit asks players to leave some acquired options out of their active setup.

Who it is for: Players who enjoy ability-gated exploration, evasive combat and adjusting a selected set of skills.

Play notes: Spirit companions supply the attacks, but the player still needs to manage Lily's evasive movement.
