About this game
Dig Dug creates his own passages through the earth while dealing with pursuing monsters. Digging is part of the attack plan: a tunnel can pull enemies into a line or draw them beneath a rock. Removing its support and stepping aside allows the rock to fall. Inflating a monster also creates a chance to pass through it. A harpoon can reach through thin earth, so spacing and the remaining walls provide alternatives to meeting every enemy head-on.
Collected in series
Dig Dug is Namco’s arcade action series about outwitting monsters with an air pump and the terrain around you. Dig tunnels and drop rocks in the original, or crack islands apart in later games to send enemies into the sea.
