About this game
Devil's Crush is a downloadable legacy specialized release for Wii U centered on driving and route control, theme-specific rule learning, and controller interaction. Content unfolds through exercises, tasks, or staged objectives, with progress divided into stages, tasks, matches, or growth milestones that make its immediate goals understandable. Its value depends on whether these rules continue to create judgment and room for mastery rather than on length, sales, or series recognition. Short campaigns are judged by repeat-challenge value, while longer ones are judged by variety, pacing, and recovery after failure. Interface, theme, and feedback establish the work's identity, while the original aspect ratio, scaling, filtering, sound, and television output need to preserve key information and the source game's style. The genre-specific limitation is that an unusual genre fit, input method, explanation style, and language can hinder understanding. Platform conditions also include control mapping, display ratio, emulation behavior, saving, controller compatibility, and the retired download service affect present-day use. The downloadable legacy release is judged for emulation behavior, control mapping, and retained conveniences rather than inheriting the original media score.

Crush Pinball brings flipper play into tables crawling with aliens, monsters and supernatural targets. Keeping the ball alive is only part of the fun: unusual creatures and hidden bonus areas give you reasons to aim your next shot.

A gothic table with lasting score-chasing appeal
Devil's Crush replaces ordinary mechanical targets with sorcerers, knights and a face that gradually transforms into a reptile. Its three-tier main table connects to six bonus stages, giving you scoring routes, ball-saving mechanisms and demanding encounters to learn. Concentrating these ideas in one table makes repeated sessions rewarding as its possibilities become familiar. Gothic imagery and atmospheric music give the action an unusually coherent personality. Some strange rebounds and weak nudging can still send a seemingly recoverable ball down the drain, however, so this is not a convincing real-world simulation. Wii U controller options and Off-TV Play suit occasional sessions for existing owners. It is especially appealing if you value imaginative targets and high-score practice more than realistic physics or numerous separate tables.
Strengths
- Layered targets and ball-saving mechanisms reward learning
- Six bonus stages provide additional challenges
- Gothic art and music create a distinctive atmosphere
Weaknesses
- Odd rebounds and weak nudging limit predictable rescues
Who it is for: Existing Wii U owners who enjoy fantasy pinball and practicing high-score routes.
Play notes: New Wii U eShop purchases have ended. Off-TV and controller details come from the official European Wii U listing; ball behaviour is not fully realistic.
